Hunter?s Find, Action-Packed Ride

This book, well-crafted and well-written, took me on a ride I didn?t expect. The plot had twists and turns, and at times when I thought I had it all figured out, another plot twist was thrown in to keep me guessing.

When a small-town sheriff unexpectedly finds a beautiful woman unconscious, lying in bushes, he tries to find out her story, and when he lets his guard down, she hauls off with a right hook and bails on him. The two end up handcuffed together, at each other?s throats ? and you can probably guess what happens next. I liked the two main characters, sheriff Hunt and the very tough and capable Amanda. (It?s always nice to have a strong, capable female lead and not some wilting flower who needs to be rescued. High-fives for the author on that.)

This book was a whole lot of fun, something I could definitely see myself reading at the beach while kicking back and looking for an escape. I?m looking forward to the sequel!
